TRENO FONT
stage project 2024.

In collaboration with the Housatonic.eu studio, I developed the photographic, type design and editorial project for the workshop to create an alphabet that would reflect the architectural and urban features of the Treno della Barca, a structure that became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2021. The letters were designed by workshop participants based on my photographs of the urban structure, then scanned and modified by myself to create a final fantasy font suitable for anyone.

NEUROMEDIA
bachelor's project, 2025.

My thesis project explores the possible connections between the figure of the graphic designer and that of the artist. The theoretical part analyzes artistic and digital trends from the advent of new media to the present day, with a particular focus on the evolution of the creative role in the technological context. The practical part consists of a data visualization representing the impact of media: from the birth of printing to contemporary artificial intelligence systems, on areas of the human brain, analyzing the changes and damage observed year by year. The texture/images of the data visualization were created using coding techniques that allowed the data to be visualized through an interactive system.

FOLDERS TYPEFACE

In creating this font, I was inspired by MacOS desktops full of folders, imagining a bitmap font created by combining the folders. The font comes in Regular, Medium and Bold versions, the latter two created by overlapping the folders.

MUD TYPEFACE
personal project, 2024.

Mud is a generative typeface in constant evolution. The inspiration comes from mud and slime: shapeless, malleable materials that change shape when subjected to external forces. The idea behind the project is precisely this transformation: a letter that deforms, moves, and changes. To make it a truly usable font, I extracted two key states of the generative process: the first and last frames, creating two static versions of the typeface: Mud Regular and Mud Medium. Both fonts are available free of charge for personal use.
